Solar power set to become Europe's largest electricity source<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
From research by the energy think tank Ember<\/a> appears that solar panels in June 2026 jointly 52 terawatt hours<\/strong> to produce electricity. That is a new record and more than enough to cover a quarter of the total European electricity demand.
